This week we are:
On Friday Acorns and Conkers had their Mother's Day assembly. The children thoroughly enjoyed singing their Mother's Day songs and letting their Mummies know why they are so special.
Last week Acorns were very excited to discover a dinosaur egg in the grounds of the school. We received a letter informing us that a dinosaur had escaped and laid an egg in the school grounds, the children loved reading the clues and eventually found the egg in the school field.
At the beginning of next term, the theme for the week will be pets. To support their learning we would like all the children to bring in a photo of their pet or pets. If they do not have a pet are they able to bring in a photo of a grandparent’s pet?
We would also like to keep in school a named pair of wellington boots, the school grounds are very muddy at this time of year and it would be very useful if the children had a pair of wellies in school.
